So today Angelina Jolie had double mastectomy, which is the removal of one’s breasts, to prevent Breast cancer. So instead of praising Angelina on her bravery, men on Twitter decided to ridicule her, even calling her stupid for removing her breasts. For those of you on Tumblr that are attacking Feminists about being delusional about sexism against women and misogyny here’s your fucking proof that sexism and misogyny exists.
This is distressing and awful to see this..
there’s more to life than tits, and she chose to forego the chance that her children would have to watch her die hooked up to machines and not breathing independently while cancer ate away at everything that ever made her herself. wow, what a horrible person, let’s make stupid and unfunny jokes about her choosing to forfeit a body part that doesn’t even really have a function anymore with today’s technology and try to pass ourselves off as something other than completely fucking moronic.
because you brave shits would totally face cancer, right? if someone told you that the car you were going to get into the very next day had an 87% chance of certainly crashing, would you get in and drive sans seatbelt or get the car new fucking parts?
